When our daughter went away to college, one of her biggest complaints was the lofted bed in her dorm. The slats were hard and narrow, leaving her with sore feet. She tried pool noodles and mats, but they often slipped around or fell off altogether. We knew there had to be a better solution, so we got to work on one design after another.

Our goal was clear: create a wider platform that would stay securely in place and wouldn't damage the existing furniture. After several designs, and our daughter's willingness to try them all, she went into her sophomore year with the best design ever. It was easy to install, soft-cushioned, supportive for her feet, and non-marking to the bunk bed. She and her roommates loved them!

At that point, we knew we had something special. In fact, the idea was so great that our best friend wanted to join the business! With his enthusiasm and belief in the product, we started our quest to introduce Bunk Bed Steps to every bunk bed user, everywhere, and make climbing into bed a more enjoyable experience..

Order Processing

Order Confirmation: Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. Please review this carefully and contact us immediately if you notice any discrepancies.
Payment: All payments are processed securely at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and other payment methods as indicated on our website.
Order Changes/Cancellations: If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has entered the shipping process.

Shipping Information

Shipping Zones: We ship to addresses within the continental United States. For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact us for a custom quote.
Processing Time: Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days of payment confirmation.
Shipping Methods: We use reputable carriers for shipping. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped, allowing you to monitor its progress.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.
Delivery: Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or unforeseen circumstances.
Damaged Shipments: If your order arrives damaged, please refuse delivery if possible. If you accept a damaged package, make a note of the damage with the delivery driver and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please retain all original packaging and take photos of the damage.

Returns and Refunds

Return Window: You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Condition of Returns: Returned items must be in their original packaging, unused, and in the same condition that you received them.
Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made orders, clearance items, or items marked as final sale are not eligible for return.
Return Process:
1. Contact our customer service team to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
2. Carefully package the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
3. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
4. Ship the item back to the address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to returns that are not due to our error.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Bunk Bed Steps L.L.C. warrants all products sold on www.bunkbedsteps.com to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the warranty period, the Company will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This One-Year Limited Warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation.
Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the product.
Modifications or alterations to the product not authorized by the Company.
Damage caused by acts of nature (e.g., floods, fires, earthquakes).
Products used for commercial purposes or in applications other than their intended use as bunk bed steps.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

Warranty Claim Process

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution.

Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team via email or phone, providing your original order number and a detailed description of the defect, including photos if possible.
Assessment: Our team will review your claim and may ask for additional information or photos.
Return Authorization (if applicable): If a return is necessary, you will be provided with an RMA number and instructions on how to return the defective item.
Repair or Replacement: Upon receipt and inspection of the defective product, the Company will, at its sole discretion, either repair the product, replace it with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater value, or provide a refund if repair or replacement is not feasible.
Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims: The customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred when returning a defective product for warranty service. The Company will cover the shipping costs for sending the repaired or replaced product back to the customer.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Bunk Bed Steps L.L.C. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the products; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the products; (c) any content obtained from the products; and (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Governing Law

This warranty and all sales policies are governed by the laws of the state where Bunk Bed Steps L.L.C. is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
